Our goal is to triple and quadruple our impact every year...

These wells are located in villages of Balkh, Afghanistan. Balkh, a thousand years earlier, was a noble & great city – part of silk road, home to Rumi and also birthplace to Zenbasil founder’s parents. The capital of education and advancement which has produced timeless literature and Love poems celebrated a thousand years later.

Today, this poor land is all dried up. Water is a major commodity, the poor that live off of less than a dollar a day have to travel miles, in this specific villages 10+ miles away from their home to fetch water from far away...the only source of water for them is dirty creek water that’s also shared with wild life.

According to UN, Dirty water born illnesses is one of the biggest killers of our time, sadly 90% of dirty water born deaths are children under age of 5…Completely preventable!

Over a thousand years ago, the land that gave birth to the world‘s most famous poet with his timeless poetry, Rūmī. Rumi was born in Balkh Afghanistan. Rumi's influence transcends national borders, ethnic divisions, and is still inspirational today.

Balkh, that once stood as the foundation of literature, which nourished timeless poetry That Marco Polo described, Balkh as a "noble and great city"

Today, Balkh is all dried up. For the most part a mass of ruins, leaving its people without the most basic human right, access to clean drinking water.

The one take away from this story is the fact that, nothing stays the same. The only thing that matters at the end, is our deeds,
the impact we leave behind.
“Love is the water of life “ Rumi “What you seek is seeking you” Rumi
“Not only the thirsty seek water, the water as well seeks the thirsty “ Rumi

People With Access to Clean Water: 2000

Completed: Oct 8, 2019

Location: Afghanistan, Balkh, Khulm High School, Hazrat Soltan

Type of Project: Deep Water Well Solar Powered 65M

Now all of these beautiful refugees have access to a water well run by a solar panel. Environmental awareness is crucial and most importantly doable even in third world countries. We are blessed to be able to provide clean water while at the same time teaching the villagers how to be environmentally friendly. These war torn villages have no electricity and now not only are they getting just that but it will be powered by solar panels.

Most of us are blessed to never have faced the harsh life of having no electricity or clean water to drink and shower with. We can now all give the same blessings to those less fortunate all around the world. *
